When my parents were in school, there were very isolated cases of violence, and no one could know about them. The violence didn't exist, because of the communist regime, which didn't allow freedom. After the fall of the regime, all took freedom for as a shield for doing and saying whatever they wanted; adding to this was the growing exposure to sensational news, or movies, without any strict regulations regarding audiences. All those have lead to increased violence.
